A Leader

A leader is one who goes out first and comes in last. The tripod of truth, justice and fairness remains his sling like the biblical David. Like Jesus faced with an adulteress, he knows temperance. A crusader he is, simple yet enigmatic. Like Abraham Lincoln, he reveres the supremacy of the law, like Indira Ghandi, he goes out to the country-side to feel the aspirations and needs of his people, like julius Nyerere, see leadership not as a means of self enrichment but as a means of enriching all. The list is endless but the message is the same.

A leader thinks in a triet, was is, what was and what ought to be and tries to find the bridge between the gorge of what is and what ought to be. He is such a noble creed to be imitated by his followers. A leader tries to translate all the dreams that wet his aspirations into reality.
